[Class 38 (iv)] A saturated auto-transformer T<SP>2</SP> and an unsaturated transformer T<SP>1</SP> are arranged with their primary windings in series and their secondary windings in series opposition and with a condenser C in parallel with the secondary circuit. An output voltage 0 which is substantially constant under variation of input volts S or load current is obtained. An unsaturated inductance L in series with the condenser eliminates the third harmonic and other inductances may be associated with condenser elements to eliminate higher harmonics likewise.
