Abstract
633,903. Automatic voltage control systems. ALLMANNA SVENSKA ELEKTRISKA AKTIEBOLAG. Aug. 12, 1947, No. 22344. Convention date, Aug. 19, 1946. [Class 38 (iv)] In a transductor regulator having two opposed D.C. windings energized from an A.C. voltage representing the regulated quantity, the circuit of one winding is modified to compensate for frequency changes. As shown, Fig. 1, the opposed control windings 4, 9 of the transductor 5, are respectively energized by the A.C. voltage at 1 to be regulated through the rectifiers 3, 8. The value of inductor 6 should be less than that giving resonance with condenser 7 at normal frequency, while with the inductor 2 shunted by a capacitor, the reverse is necessary. In an alternative form, not shown, 6 and 7 are connected in series.
