[Class 38 (iv)] Transformer arrangement.-An arrangement for giving constant volt age comprises two transformers 1, 5 connected tc the A.C. supply with their secondaries 3, 7 in series opposition, one of the transformers 1 operating at saturation and having a condenser 4 in series with its primary winding. Filter circuits 9, 10 to eliminate harmonics are connected on the primary or secondary sides of the arrangement.
