548,131. Drying-apparatus. AKT.-GES. BROWN, BOVERI, & CIE. Sept. 3, 1941, No. 11272. Convention date, Sept. 14, 1940. [Class 34 (ii)] Air heated by a heater o is circulated by a fan c through wet material a in a section I of a drying apparatus and part of the wet air is taken from the section through a pipe f to a heat exchanger g in another section II where it heats air circulated by a fan p through the wet material b in the section. The air from the heat exchanger passes through a separator h from which dried air is returned through a pipe i to the circuit in the first section and the separated moisture is passed through a coil l around the fresh air inlet pipe of the second section.
