583,381. Drying-apparatus. SOC. DE LABORATOIRE ROBAPHARM. July 20, 1944, No. 13915. Convention date, July 14, 1943. [Class 34 (ii)] Apparatus for drying heat sensitive material, e.g., animal organs, comprises a drying chamber 2 and an air-regenerating chamber 3 which are separated by an insulating wall 4 having an air duct 5, 6 at each end for the continuous circulation by a fan 8 of air through the two chambers in succession, the chamber 3 being provided with cooling and heating means 9, 10 adapted respectively, to cool below the dew point the air from the chamber 2, to eliminate moisture, and heat it before readmission to said latter chamber. The material to be dried is disposed on removable shelves 7, and a condensate outlet 12 from the chamber 3 is provided. An hygrometer 13, and associated thermometer, may be disposed in the air duct 6.
