[Class 38 (i)] A holder for a miniature screw cap bulb comprises a non-screwed socket b slotted longitudinally at c to allow a resilient contact j to protrude into engagement with an inserted lamp. The contact consists of an L-shaped strip secured to the annular base by a terminal screw m and having a V- shaped portion k that engages and retains the screw cap of the lamp. The centre contact is the head of a screw i set in a strip g the other end of which is secured by a terminal screw h. The socket may be metal lined.
