532,537. Two-stroke cycle engines. AKTIEBOLAGET SVENSKA KULLAGERFABRIKEN. July 24, 1939, No. 21498. Convention date; Aug. 15, 1938. [Class 7 (ii)] In engines in which the vacuum created in the combustion chamber by the oscillations in the exhaust conduit and is used to induce fresh charge, the charge is supplied under pressure from the crank-case or otherwise to a chamber 8 behind the inlet.valves 9 which are self-active, that is, responsive only to the adjacent pressure variation. Air may also be induced into the the chamber 8 through a non-return valve 10. The exhaust ports open into chambers 16, 17 delivering parallel streams guided by a wall 19 into the pipe 18.
