531,252. Linkage for gauges. STEVENS, A. H. (Sheffield Gage Corporation). June 6, 1939, No. 16583. [Class 80 (iii)] Linkage for transmitting motion from a thrust member 31 to the indicator 34 of a lineardimension gauge comprises a fixed member 11 and a movable member 10 mounted for a small swinging movement about an axis determined by the point of intersection of a pair of leaf springs 12, 13 each secured at one end to the fixed member and at the other end to the movable member. Limit stops are provided by a stud 38 on member 11 engaging a slightly larger hole 37 in member 10. The member 10 has hardened thrust surfaces 30, 32.
