Abstract

530,765. Lamp-caps. MISSOL, S., and FELD, L. July 3, 1939, No. 19304. [Class 38 (i)] A multiple filament lamp has a screw cap to which one end of each filament is connected and contact plates f, g to which the other ends of the filaments are separately attached. A centre contact r is pressed down by a spring p on to the plates f, g and is rotatable to act as a switch, an insulating insert s preventing contact with more than one of the plates f, g. Projections on the contact r and corresponding recesses in the insulation of the cap, prevent accidental rotation of the contact. The filament leads connected to the plates f, g pass through holes j, k.
