530,754. Panelled constructions. BRABY & CO., Ltd., F., and MARCHBANK, J. July 3, 1939, No. 19268. [Class 20 (iv)] A metallic partition comprising metallic panel units and window-frame units carried by mullions and transoms, has framework members 1 of channel section with beaded flanges, over which engage the side flanges of channel-section pilaster bars 5. The beads 3 may be disposed at or near to the ends of the flanges and the edges of the pilaster bars may also be beaded. The edges of the panels 13 are received between channel-section bars 12 secured to channels 6 bolted by bolts 7 to the flanges of the framework members and the side and top and bottom members of the windowframe units may be provided with the same means for receiving the edges of the glass panels. The closed framework members may be used as conduits for electric service cables 14.
