1,267,557. Panelled wall-partitions. VEREINIGTE METALLWERKE RANSHOFENBERNDORF A.G. 2 Dec., 1969 [3 Dec., 1968], No. 58826/69. Heading E1W. A partition wall comprises rectangular aluminium frames formed of elements which are channel shaped and engage around the edges of plasterboard, P.V.C.-coated or veneered chipboard, aluminium or glass plates 8. Vertical elements 1 are secured by means of screws 6 to horizontal elements which engage resilient packing strips at the floor and ceiling. Vertical elements are formed with resiliently interlocking formations 22, 23 which clip to adjacent frames. The panels may be filled with spaced glass-wool insulation 9.
