Abstract

530,452. Switch contacts. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., and DAVIES, H. J. C. June 19, 1939, No. 17841. [Class 38 (v)] The pivot pin 8 connecting the movable contact member 5 of a contactor &c. to the pivoted arm 1 is fixed to the member 5 and current is led to it by means of one or more flexible conductors 11. The pin 8 may be made a driving fit in the arm 1 or it may be tapered and secured by a cotter pin or, as shown, it may be secured by a bolt 4 which passes through a hole in the member 5 into a threaded hole in the pin 8.
