Abstract

375,946. Air-break switches. PFISTERER, K., 10, Cannstatterstrasse, Untert³rkheim, Stuttgart, Germany. May 18, 1931, No. 14618. [Class 38 (v).] A disconnecting switch for supply lines is situated on overhead conductors b, c, and at some distance from a supporting pole. The switch consist of an insulating body a containing stationary clip contacts (not shown), and fitted with outside terminals k to which are brought the ends of the line conductors after looping through and clamping to the body a for the purpose of taking the strain. The ends are secured to the body by pairs of nuts l, h, and l, f, one nut of each pair being formed as a cone. A contact lever n which may be fitted with a fuse r terminates in a loop q for operation by a hooked stick.
