Abstract

363,442. Contact-members for switches ; fusible cut-outs. PRESTON, W., Falcon Electrical Works, Redding Lane, Wednesbury, Staffordshire. Oct. 9, 1930, No. 30224. [Class 38 (v).] A fuse carrier specially adapted for acting also as a switch arm, comprises an arm 1, of a non- brittle insulating material such as that! known under the registered Trade Mark of Bakelite, having a channel 3 in it containing an asbestos tube 2 for the reception of the fuse wire. The ends of the wire are connected by screw pins 5 with metal contact caps 4 mounted on the ends of the arm 1.
