Abstract
167,832. Watkinson, J., Francis, N. C., and Quennell, A. E. May 13, 1920. Resistance switches.-The switch comprises an insulating-base 17, a resistance device consisting of rows of graphite or like blocks 9, a rigid frame 11 slotted to receive the resistance blocks, spaced contacts 6 electrically connected to various points of the resistance device, and a spring contact 4 mounted so as to be moved arcuately over the stationary contacts. The Specification describes a number of different constructions all conforming to the above general description. Specifications 19219/06 and 111,821 are referred to.
