Abstract

206,140. Metropolitan - Vickers Electrical Co., Ltd., (Assignees of James, H. D., and Hodgkins, C. H.). Oct. 24, 1922, [Convention date]. Contacts.-The movable contact 8 of an electromagnetic switch is hooked on to the upper end of a member 6 and is retained in position by a spring 9. The member 6 is fixed to a member 4 which is pivoted at 5 and carries the armature 2. In a modification, a blade spring takes the place of the spring 9 and serves also to conduct the current to the contact. Several contacts may be mounted on the one member 4.
