[Class 106 (iv)] [Also in Group XVIII] In a liquid level indicator suitable for a kerosene stove, a float 14 is connected by an arm 13 to a magnet 11 pivoted on a bolt 12 which is screwed into a cover 4. The cover is secured by a clamping ring 7 carrying a window 5 and provided with a scale. A pivoted pointer 10 is actuated by the rotation of the magnet 11 to indicate the liquid level. In an alternative, the cover 4 may be screwed into the part 2 and may carry the window 5, and in another alternative, the magnet may be constructed of a yoke with separate pole pieces.
