523,994. Rolling. SCHLOEMANN AKT.- GES. Jan. 18, 1939, No. 1817. Convention date, Jan. 24, 1938. [Class 83 (iv)] A sheet rolling-mill plant comprising threehigh preliminary roll stands 1 and 2, side by side, followed in line by two side by side finishing stands 3a, 3b, doublers 7a, 7c, furnaces 5a and 5b being interposed between the. stands, the work being conveyed as required by a longitudinal conveyer 16 connecting with transverse conveyers 15 and 18. Preliminary furnaces 4 are provided with a cross conveyer 19 at their outlets. A transverse conveyer 14 is provided between the outlet side of the preliminary roll stands 1 and 2. A shears 13 and another doubler 7b is provided followed by a transverse conveyer 17 to distribute the work to strip drawers 9a or 9b.
