[Class 83 (iv).] A machine for straightening bars &c. has sets A, B of straightening rolls with different axial spacing x, y, on a common frame. The lower rolls are loosely mounted and the upper rolls of each set are geared together and driven from a shaft perpendicular to the roll axes.
