520,060. Abrasive wheels, milling-cutters, saws &c. FISH, K. R. G. Oct. 26, 1938, No. 30931. [Classes 60 and 145 (ii)] [Also in Group XXII] Abrasive wheels, milling- cutters, saws, &c., have coolant applied under pressure to a part of the tool which is shielded from the surrounding air. In one form the washers b have flanges bl to receive coolant supplied at e for discharge under centrifugal force through apertures f to impinge on the wheel. In a modification, the coolant is supplied by a jet through the hollow shaft to spaces between the washers and wheel leading to the peripheral ducts.
