[Class 91] High compression motor fuel is produced by blending water-containing alcohol with hydrocarbon fuel using' as blender a neutral soap obtained from. fat or fatty acid and an alcoholic solution of alkali. In an example; a blending agent formed from 65 gm. of caustic potash, 370 cc. of alcohol, and 321 cc. of oleic acid is used to blend up to 24 cc. of alcohol containing about 6 per cent. of water with 60 cc. of gasolene, which may contain tetraethyl lead. Other blending soaps specified are made from lard, tallow, olive oil or linseed oil.
