[Class 99 (i)] A swivelling elbow joint consists of a sequence of elements comprising a sleeve w, a nipple b and coupling nut m, the sleeve and nipple having elongated co-operating surfaces, a packing ring d engaging the inner end of the.nipple. The nut engages a collar s on the nipple. In a modification a gland nut screws into the sleeve, the collar is at the inner end of the nipple and the packing ring is secured between the collar and gland nut.
