Abstract

515,912. Shoots and hoppers. ESKE, F.' W. June 15, 1938, No. 17858. [Class 78 (i)] Fuel is fed from an overhead bunker to a furnace by means of an endless conveyer 17 in, a shoot 6 which communicates at its lower end with a casing 1 containing a rotary bladed distributor 8 co-acting with the furnace opening 3. The blades of the distributor may be of unequal lengths. An adjustable curved block 14 is provided adjacent the rotor. A combined slice bar and rake 21 may be supported by rollers 22 below the casing. Specifications 469,799, 480,835, 482,221 and 501,976, [all in Group XII], are referred to.
