Class 5(i) The feed-in to a chaff cutter drum 2 comprises upper feed rollers 4, 5 mounted between arms 3 which are pivotable about the drum shaft 1 to adjust these rollers to or from the feed table 6. The roller 4 is smaller than the roller 5 to provide a wedge-shaped feed-in passage. A counter roller 7 protrudes slightly above the end of the feed table 6 at the narrowest part of the feed-in passage. All the feed rollers are driven from the drum shaft 1 by chain or V-belt. A casing 8 adjusted along with the arms 3 covers the apparatus.
