[Class 83 (iv)] Rod-straightening apparatus comprises grooved rollers 21 carried in a fixed frame 9 co-operating with grooved rollers 15 in a frame adjustable about a pivot 11 by a screw 30. The rod is fed against a stop 35 from a reel 2 by electromotors rotating the rollers 21 and is severed by a treadleactuated guillotine blade 34.
