Abstract
594,080. Silage cutters. WALKER, A. C. C. July 29, 1944, No. 14511. [Class 5 (i)] Silage materials are fed by a belt e to a gap between rollers h, i and then between a fixed upper knife n and a lower knife p oscillated from an eccentric s which works in the arm r carrying the knife. The lower end of the arm is pivoted to an arm t, one end of which is pivoted to the upright a<SP>1</SP>. The other end of the arm carries a roller u pressed against the upright a<SP>1</SP>. The direction of drive may be reversed.
