Abstract

515,064. Liquid-fuel injectors. SULZER FRERES SOC. ANON. May 23, 1938, No. 15270.' Convention date, July 13, 1937. [Class 7 (iii)] The loading spring of a fuel injector 1 is formed by a transversely mounted resilient rod 2; one end of which bears on the valve tappet 6 while the other end is provided with a shoulder 8 which is held against a seating 9 in a surrounding casing 3 by a screw 10. The point of engagement of the screw 10 with the rod 2 is eccentric with respect to the axis of the shoulder 8. Specication 484,802 is referred to.
