514,367. Centrifugal pumps. NACCI, S. Feb. 1, 1938, No. 3113. Void. Convention date,- Feb. 9, 1937. [Class 110 (i)] Centrifugal pumps are primed by a small pump B embodied in the foot-valve V of the suction pipe T and actuated by a flexible shaft F. The shaft may be formed of several sections coupled together and may be driven by hand or by the shaft of the main pump P. The shaft F may be coupled to the pump shaft by a clutch H actuated by a lever L or by a servomotor controlled by the delivery pressure of the main pump
