607,830. Centrifugal and screw pumps. SELF-PRIMING PUMP & ENGINEERING CO., Ltd., DAWSON, A. L. B., STOW, E. W. T., and WATSON, F. J. Feb. 12, 1946, No. 4391. [Glass 110 (i)] A motor-driven pump designed for insertion through the floor of a petrol tank has an impeller which comprises three helical blades 20 followed by centrifugal pump blades 22. The space between the two sets of blades is enclosed by a ring 25 integral with the impeller. The general arrangement is similar to that described in Specification 558,040. Specifications 577,331 and 581,505 also are referred to.
