419,176. Centrifugal pumps. DRYSDALE & CO., Ltd., and YOUNG, J., Ferry Road, Yoker, Glasgow. Jan. 6, 1934, No. 546. [Class 110 (i).] The diffuser walls 2, 3 of a semi-axial flow centrifugal pump are of parabolic form. The wall 2 and the impeller boss 1 form a continuous curve, the axis of which is coincident with that of the impeller. The axis of the parabolic wall 3 is at right angles thereto.
