Abstract
421,214. Centrifugal pumps. WARBURTON, F. G., c /o Harland Engineering Co., Alloa, Clackmannanshire. Sept. 23, 1933, No. 26284. [Class 110 (i)] The supply of compressed air to the air-bell of a deepwell centrifugal pump is controlled by a float actuated valve 5. An aperture 12 enables the water in the annular passage 13 between the bell 3 and the discharge passage 9 to circulate by convection. The motor 2 may be placed below the pump 1.
