510,863. Lubricating valve gear. TOWLER, C. Feb. 23, 1938, No. 14339/39. Divided out of 516,667, [Group XXIV]. [Class 7 (ii)] Lubricating oil is transmitted through a tubular push rod 5 by means of a small diameter tube 7 passing through the push rod and secured at one end in a ball-shaped end 1, and at the other end in an adaptor 8, between which and the tappet 12 is arranged a hardened steel pad 14 with oil hole 15. The lower end of the tube 7 may be flanged over at 13 between the adaptor and pad.
