Abstract

508,319. Alloys. HALL & PICKLES, Ltd., RUSSELL, J. H., and MURPHY, A. M. C. Jan. 7, 1938, No. 474. [Class 82 (i)] Alloys particularly for electric heating resistances, of the type comprising nickel and chromium with or without up to 30 per cent of iron, contain also 1-10 per cent of niobium together with usual deoxidants such as calcium, aluminium, titanium, zirconium, and cerium. The niobium may be added in the form of an iron alloy containing 50-60 per cent of niobium.
