[Class 82 (i)] Aluminium alloys consist of aluminium with 7-20 per cent. of zinc, 1-3 per cent. of copper, 1-2 per cent. of magnesium, 0.1-1.5 per cent. of manganese, 0.05-1 per cent. of chromium, and 0.01-0.2 per cent. of calcium, with or without 0.01-2 per cent. of molybdenum or 0.01-0.5 per cent. of titanium, and up to 1 per cent. of iron and silicon as impurities. The alloys may be made by melting together aluminium-copper, aluminium-manganese, and aluminium-chromium alloys and adding calcium, magnesium, and zinc.
