Abstract
506,905. Alloys. KRUPP AKT.-GES., F. Jan. 17, 1939, No. 1619. Convention date, Jan. 22, 1938. [Class 82 (i)] Articles which have to be welded, or are worked during manufacture at 500-900‹ C., such as parts of chemical or cooking apparatus, spoons, forks, knives, and parts for interior decoration, are made from austenitic steel alloys containing 10À5-16 per cent of chromium, 10À5-15 per cent of manganese, 0À05- 0'35 per cent of nitrogen, and up to 0À15 per cent of carbon, with or without up to 2À5 per cent of nickel, and with or without up to a total of 3 per cent of one or more of the elements titanium, tantalum, niobium, vanadium, tungsten, molybdenum, zirconium, cobalt, silicon, copper, and aluminium.
