[Class 144 (i)] A light-metal wheel-body comprises two sets of spokes 1, 2 integral with an annular or polygonal web 3 which is welded to a correspondingly. shaped hub 9 having an attachment-flange 10. As shown in Fig. 2, the spokes, which in the finished wheel are inclined axially outwardly towards the wheelcentre, may be produced by stamping pairs A, B of wheel bodies from a flat blank, which is then circled and the arms la, 2a folded from the annular web 3a. The hub 9 may be similarly produced from a flat blank.
