[Class 144 (i)] [See also Group XXII] The hub A and integral web D of a wheel, Fig. 9, are formed by cupping a disc, dishing the web in reverse direction to the cup, radially corrugating the web in dies, Fig. 5, Fig. 6, and pressing the web to draw in and close up the outer ends of the corrugations as at 0', Fig. 7, so forming the hub and web as in Fig. 8 with short spoke-arms. Specifications 436,338 and 436,339 are referred to.
