[Class 131] In a dry shaver the inner toothed cutter 11 is reciprocated by depressing a handlever 29 to move a toothed segment 27 which drives, through a free-wheel device and gears 26, 24, a fly-wheel, 23 carrying on its spindle 22 a cam 21 oscillating a forked lever 16 which engages a ball 15 housed in the movable cutter. A torsion spring 30 restores the lever 29 when released. A rib 9 on the outer fixed slotted cutter 7 guides the inner moving cutter.
