Abstract

493,024. Skein holders. HOLT, Ltd., T., and HOLT, R. March 31, 1938, No. 9828. Addition to 480,972. [Class 120 (ii)] The non-contiguous ends of the band described in the parent Specification are connected by lever-operated means for tensioning the band 13, Fig. 1, to hold the arms 14 in the adjusted position and for removing the tension on the band when the arms are to be re-adjusted. As shown a lever 18 is pivoted between curls 16 formed at one end 13<1> of the band and carries a pin 20, Fig. 2, which is embraced by an curl 22<11> at one end of a spring plate 21., the other end of which is fixed to the other end 13<11> of the band; the plate 21 may have a resilient curl 22 and the plate may be operated by the lever through a cam.
