Abstract

258,377. Brysilka, Ltd., and Schubert, F. W. July 2, 1925. Skein holders and swifts. - In a collapsable reel for winding yarns &c., the filament-supporting bars 8 are carried on three segmental portions 29, 31, the two portions 31 being pivoted at 30 on the third portion 29, which latter is provided with a radial arm 32 carrying a crossmember 33 adapted to hold the segments 31 in their outer positions through the medium of catches 34. A pin 35 is adapted when depressed to disengage the catches 34.
