821,441. Spools. ENGLISH SEWING COTTON CO. Ltd. April 27, 1956 [Nov. 18, 1955], No. 12957/56. Class 120(3) A plastic spool consists of a barrel 2 with end flanges 4, and an axial tubular core 6 integrally connected to barrel 2 by a central web 8. Core 6 has axial ribs 10 the ends of which form shoulders 12 with the core. The radial inner side of the barrel has shoulders 18 spaced from the barrel ends and labels 20 in the form of circular discs are forced over the ends of the core so as to abut shoulders 12 and 18 which lie in different planes. Specification 781,034 is referred to.
