Abstract

409,409. Domestic skein - holder. JONES, S. H., 79, Semley Road, Norbury, London. Nov. 7, 1932, No. 31364. [Class 120 (ii).] A domestic skeinholder comprises two or more arms A, A<1> having skein receiving pegs G, the arms being held crossing one another by a spring C coiled round the pivot B, or by springs or elastic stretched between the arms, so that the arms may be rotated relatively to one another to accommodate different size skeins, the whole being mounted on a clamping device. A tie J may be provided to prevent the arms opening too widely. The preferred form of clamping device comprises two members held together by elastic bands or by springs, so that the members may be separated and clipped on to any suitable projection The pegs G may be adjustable.
