Class 44 In a spring clip of the kind comprising two parts 10 hinged together at a point intermediate their ends and held together by a U-shaped spring 17, the bend of the spring passes through an aperture in the operating limb of each part adjacent to the hinge, the free ends of the spring urging the gripping jaws together, and the hinge comprises a protuberance 12 on one part engaging in a recess 11 on the other. Preferably, as shown, the two parts are identical, each having a protuberance 12 on one side of the centre line and a recess 11 on the other.
