Abstract
488,119. Two-part couplings. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., and GUNN, J. H. Feb. 10, 1937, No. 3981. [Class 38 (i)] . A lamp bolder comprises a tapering body 1 with internal ribs 3 making a, tight fit with the lamp socket 4. The top is formed with slots 6 for the passage of leads and is closed by a screw-cap 7 adapted to be screwed down on to a shoulder 8 and to clamp the leads. A guard ring 11 tapered outwards at the lower end, screws on to the part 1 to clamp a support, e.g. an apertured sheet, against the shoulder 12.
