Abstract

489,515. Two-part couplings. ROBBINS, D. H. March 1, 1937, No. 6003. [Class 38 (i)] A device for locking an ordinary bayonet-cap lamp in its holder consists of a ring 1 to surround the cap 4 having projections 5 to enter the bayonet slots 12 of the holder and a key operated looking screw 7 to engage above the usual shoulder on the lamp cap to secure the ring 1 in place. The screw 7 is set at an angle in a socket 6 and has an angular head 10 for engagement by a key. The ring 1 has an internal flange at its lower edge with slots for passing over the bayonet pins 3 and the projections 6 extend above and inwardly from the upper edge of the ring.
