Abstract

482,913. Mould linings. ROEMMELE. M. A. Dec. 15, 1936, Nos. 34493/36 and 16380/37. [Class 87 (ii)] [Also in Group X] A lining for moulds for concrete comprises a deformable sheet 1 of fibrous material in the nature of paper, such as cardboard, having ribs 2 and a flexible protective coating 4 on its concrete-engaging surface. The cardboard may be corrugated. The ribs may be dovetailed so as to form a grooved key surface in the concrete for the reception of a plaster facing. A backing sheet 5 may be provided. The coating may comprise shellac varnish or waterproof gum or glue. According to the first Provisional Specification, the coating may be rubber latex with or without wax. According to the second Provisional Specification, a layer of woven fabric such as cotton may be incorporated in the cardboard or other sheet.
