[Classes 16 and 146 (i)] The moulded book cover described in the parent Specification is modified in that the fibrous or like layer treated with synthetic resin or the like, or each such layer, has in its initial condition a plain inner surface, or has an inner surface coated with a thin uncured rubber layer. The fibrous or like layer may comprise either a single sheet or two united sheets of fabric or paper.
