377,572. Adhesive sheets and bandages. SCHOLL MANUFACTURING CO., Ltd., 188, St. John Street, London.-(Scholl, W. M. ; Chicago, U.S.A.) Jan. 26, 1932, No. 2367. [Class 81 (i.i).] An adhesive material for surgical or other uses comprises a fabric 4, an adhesive coating 6, and an interposed rubberized and vulcanized layer 5. The rubberized material, preferably admixed with a filler such as zinc oxide, is applied to the fabric by a spreader knife or calender rolls and vulcanized. A heat cure or an air cure may be used. A solution of the adhesive is spread on and dried, if desired by heat. A removable protective fabric 7 may then be pressed on. The completed material may be in the form of sheets or rolls, or may be made into pads of special shape.
