Abstract
480,019. Valve circuits for wireless reception. JOHNSON, G. W. (Philco Radio and Television Corporation) Aug. 19, 1936, No. 22852. [Class 40 (v)] A detector circuit comprises an input circuit and an audio load impedance serially connected between the control grid and the cathode, an output circuit including audio and carrier frequency load impedances and a winding coupled to the input circuit and connected to an auxiliary grid which is capacitatively coupled to the anode. The Figure shows a pentode, with an input circuit C1L2 and an audio frequency load R1C2, having the suppressor grid connected to a winding L3 and connected by a condenser Ct to the anode. The anode load comprises resistances R2, R3 the latter being shunted by a condenser C3 for carrier frequencies.
