Abstract

474,360. Feedwater regulators. COPES REGULATORS, Ltd. (Northern Equipment Co.) Aug. 15, 1936, No. 22558/37. Divided out of 474,538, [Group XXIX]. Drawings to Specification. [Class 123 (ii)] The pressure of the water supplied to a feed valve is controlled by a valve actuated by the water pressure, which is independently varied. A valve is actuated by a piston acted upon by water taken from the feed line, the pressure on the piston being controlled by a valve connected to the feed valve, as described in Specification 474,538. The water is supplied to a boiler through an economizer, from which it passes through a feed valve operated by a regulator responsive to changes in the boiler water level.
